Case Study 2 - Employment Absenteeism/Fraud
Our client, the owner a successfull haulage company contacted us after a member of staff went off sick from work claiming back injury. The member of staff was also in the process of making a claim against the company for not complying with health & safety legislation causing them to become injured.
Immediate surveillance showed our clients critically injured member of staff shopping and carrying crates of beer with no apparent strain or pain. This video evidence and other documentation showing the employee on the driving range! were presented to our client. After consulting the companies legal representation it was decided to counter sue the employee for attempted fraud. My client won the case out of court.
The evidence was all collected within the realms of the law and presented to our client in a format suitable for evidence in a court of law.
